3CE Lip Matte Color #908

Ordered this from StyleNanda. Colour was pretty special and I didnt think I already had that #justifyingmybillionthpurchase hahahah
As usual, love their packaging. I love the pink tubes too but this is pretty cool. Matte velvety black.

I think this is the special 3CE Lip Color Matte that came out after the original range and it has 3 colours:
#907 Old Dress
#908 Warm & Sweet (which is what I got)
#909 Smoked Rose

Sooo tempted to get the other two colours! They all look gorgeous.

Colour swatch on my skin. Looks pretty ok... I was afraid it might be too dark for on my lips.

OK, my face with it on. I think maybe this is my dark nude shade. I think it is one of those odd colours that surprisingly looks pretty ok on me. A little different from the normal orange that I usually sport. Texture wise, its finishing is pretty matte as its name suggests. Did not feel dry like what I would expect a matte lipstick. Application wise you are better off if you bother to moisturise and scrub your lips beforehand. But otherwise, it is still pretty ok. Does not show the cracks on my lips too much. Only see lines which will get more visible as time goes by. It is pretty transfer proof too for a lipstick - maybe because it is matte.

Most definitely look better when you bother to put on full make up. I think my makeup and lense here complement the lip colour so it doesn't look as dull as compared to my daily makeup look.

3CE Lip Matte Color
#908 Warm & Sweet

Pros
Pretty long lasting.
Glides on pretty smoothly - much better if you moisturise before hand.
Unique shade.

Cons
Looks duller after a while - maybe I am not used to sporting this colour.
Shows the lines on the lips after a while.
Will need to reapply the center of the lips.
Nothing really bad about this lipstick - it is just a more lasting, slightly dryer lipstick which is fine by me.

Etude House Tint My Brow Gel

I dont know how i found out about this product. Maybe on one of those days where i was really lazy to draw and searched online, this product popped up. I saw some reviews that says the result will only last around 3 days. Thats not very impressive. But then again if it can last pretty long it might be very dark initially. Im expecting it to fade off as days go by.

The instruction says:
Apply liberal amount after eyebrows are trimmed. Let dry for at least 2hrs. Best if you peel off the next morning, which i do not intend to do since this is my first try. I have to work the next day so.... Fingers crossed.

Of course I got it in the darkest shade #3 Gray Brown. Was so tempted to also order the middle brown tone but i think it might be too light for me.

Normal small brush applicator. The liquid is very thick but not so thick that its too difficult to apply.  Id say its just nice. I only went out of my bottom line by a tiny dot which i managed to use my fingernail to scrape off.

Ready to see my Crayon Shinchan face......?

TADAAAAAAAA..... 😱😱😱😱😱 hahahahahha. I showed Conrad after I applied it and he was like... "WTH.. Take if off now...!" Hahahahhaha..

Super scary! First 5mins of me applying it i was like.. "Shitttttttttt....." But i still wanna know how it will turn out to be.

After half an hour i touched it and its already dry. I guess for those of you who are scared you can peel it off now. But you might risk peeling off also the part underneath thats not yet dry.

So after an hr I decided to peel it off because it was already almost 1am and i need to faint. I had no intention of letting it stay till the next day just in case it gets too dark and i still had to go to work.. #nightmare. So after an hour, it was peeled off pretty easily. Not painful. Doesnt stick too tight or too dry to my eyebrow hair. None of my hair got peeled off.. I think.

This is what it looked like. Pretty awesome! One thing i wasnt satisfied about was the front bit. I think maybe after 2 hrs it will look better. Very satisfied with my first attempt.

This is what it looked like the next day. I topped up the front bit with a little of clio. I didnt do anything to the middle to back parts. Looks pretty good! I did not wash and scrub my eyebrows in the morning by the way. I was my face as per usual but i use Cetaphil so itll be gentler. I didnt rub it all over my eyebrow too.

So... 2nd night i decided to do another hour of the stain. At first i wanted to only paint in on the front bit but i decided to do it on the entire brow. Just in case.

This is what it looks like the next day. I did not top up at all! This is all the result of the stain from the night before. Awesomeness!

This is day 2 result. I did not top up in this picture. You can see that the front bit is starting to fade and the colour looks overall more light. I went out after i top up with a little clio again.

Third day look. Front part is starting to fade more. Colour is noticeably lighter brown. Back part is starting to fade a little. I went out after i topped up with clip and etude - wanted a thicker look today.

So far i have been using Cetaphil and no make up remover on my brows. When i applied clio i will softly wipe it with my micellar water.

Day four. More fading. I was so tempted to top up the tint last night but my sleepiness got the better hold of me. It still looks fuller than my bare brows but that is about is. I topped up with clio this morning. I used my clarisonic brush and cleanser last night so it could probably have also scrubbed off the front bit. I tried not to go over my brows. This is the final day it lasted. Days after that I will really need to draw my entire brows.

I have since tried applying it overnight or for 2 hours. There is no difference. In fact I prefer it when I only apply it for an hour and peel it off. I will from now on only apply for an hour before I peel it off. This will be great when I go on trips especially tours so I don't have to spend extra time drawing my brows for at least 2 days in a row.

If you are like me and you sometimes apply serum - the more liquid kind, not the creamish kind, your brows will turn green hahahah. I didn't realise till my colleague asked... did you draw my brows (i draw my brows everyday) hahahah but he only noticed it when it turned green and became obvious that it wasn't my normal brow look. Anyway, I think the serum somehow seeps in and alters the colour. Only happens when I apply my Missha treatment essence and Mario Badescu vitamin C which are both watery. Other than that it doesn't happen when I use my Laneige time freeze serum which is the cream kind.

Etude House Tint My Brow Gel
Gray Brown

Pros
Pretty long lasting.
Pretty easy to apply but you have to be careful if you don't really draw your brows often.
Good for short travel or when you are feeling lazy to draw your brows everyday.

Cons
I think it will finish very fast if you use it regularly.
Doest last as long as I have hoped but it lasts so much longer than the usual

Limecrime Velvetines Pumpkin

Finally we ordered another batch of velvetines. Not many new shades that I think will suit me. Ordered this Pumpkin shade which i think looks like a rusty red, a little like mixture of red velvet with riot with suedeberry. It looks darker on me than I thought but what is new, right. Lip picture taken from Lime Crime site. I think it is quite true to colour.. for this shade at least.

Yes, I'm angry. Can you feel it? Hahahah.. This colour makes me look angry. I think it's too goth for my skin. I feel weird when I wear it out. Like... Im not sure what kind of eye make up I should match it with. I usually just darken my usual shadow. Can't believe I now have 5 Velvetines! Yipee....

Colour swatches. Forgot to do one with suedeberry. So these are the 3 colours that make me look angry hahah..

Lime Crime Velvetines
#Pumpkin

The pros and cons are similar to the other Velvetines I have.

Pros:
Very pretty matte shade especially for you who love this look.
Long lasting.
Easily removable at the end of the day.
Smells lovely.
Colour makes me look angry hahahah.

Cons:
Probably too little if you use it everyday, it won't last very long.
Highlights your lip lines.
Feels a little dry after a while.

Same feedback as the other Velvetines, so here are the complete reviews with pictures.

Limecrime Unicorn Lipstick: Babette

There was a sale on Lime Crime nearing to Christmas last year so besides topping up on my Suedeberry and getting Pumpkin I also ordered Babette which is from their Unicorn Lipstick range. I wouldn't have gotten it if it hadn't been on sale. The sale was more than 50% off. I'm always on a look out for a pinkish colour that will suit my lips. Picture taken from LimeCrime site. They describe Babette as a Pinky Nude shade. Which is... pretty accurate. I guess on fairer skin it will look more nude. Such "nude" colours usually make me look like I am sick - cooped up for a few days at home and havent seen the sun nor bothered put on make up.

Came with a holographic lipstick box. Love nice packaging. But this paper box ended up in my rubbish bin anyway hahah.

Swatch of the colour.... My skin looks very dark here. I was pretty convinced when I see the lip colour on the site. Prayed and hoped that I can carry it off.

This is what it looks on me. I think it's still ok.. Doesn't make me look sick, does it? I'll have to say... I'm pretty pleasantly surprised with the texture of this lipstick. It's thick. Not exactly creamy, just thicker than normal lipstick. It's not very balmy nor the moisturised kind. But, it doesn't feel dry on my lips. It's like a kinda moist matte lipstick. It will highlight cracks on the lips but not as obvious as Velvetines. You still need a smoothed out lips to make this appear very nice. I love this formula. But they don't have many colour that suits my skin. Their colours are more for the fairer or more adventurous soul. My soul isn't that adventurous ahhaha..

Lime Crime Unicorn Lipstick
#Babette

Pros
Coats well.
Creamy.
Doesn't feel dry.

Cons
Obviously not as long lasting as tint which I'm used to by now, but it's alright I guess. Since it's a little thick/creamy, it lasts longer than normal lipstick.

Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint

I got this super cute lip tint from Etude House. The packaging is super adorable. I wasn't going to get another tint since we all know my lip products are so many that they can probably last me till I'm a grandma. I just went into Etude to try them out one by one and I think this is the only shade that suits my lips.

This is what it looks like after I started using it. I just throw it in my bag and it will move all over the place. It feels a little different from the usual balm that I'm used to. It feels a little gel-ish. A little weird in the beginning. I've been cleaning off the residue at the corner once in a while. Just be careful when you just throw it around. I think I've a tiny stain spot in my bag hahah. It doesn't leak but probably when I screw it back the tint smeared outside of the pot a little. You need to keep cleaning the smeared ones from the cap else... the more liquidy part of the balm which is on the top layer I think, the more water-ish part will seep out and stain your bag/pouch. Happened to me one time when I picked it up from my Kanken and my hand was slimy. Luckily my bag wasn't stained. I didn't check but I think it wasnt hahaha.

It doesn't look like it will last long. I was pretty skeptical at first. I rubbed a part of it in the middle as you can see from the picture. This tint surprisingly lasts pretty long compared to normal lipstick. I didn't have much hope for it initially. I just got it because it looked like a pretty orangey pink and I didn't have that colour (ok.. not EXACTLY that colour). You will need to try it on your lips to see what it really looks like unless you are VERY fair and so I think your lips will also be a little of the light pinkish shade and hence all lipstick shade will be true-to-colour on your lips.

How long lasting is this tint? Hmm.. I still need to reapply after a meal but the colour is still there though not in its original shade. If you eat fried chicken like a barbarian I think it will most definitely be gone completely but other than that... probably you can still get away with not topping up but I want great looking lips all the time so I will definitely touch up.

The finished look is a little matte but the good thing is, it doesn't feel drying like most matte lipsticks do. It doesn't look too matte as well. Doesn't look dry. The usual matte lipsticks will highlight all your lip lines or your flaky lip bits. This one does also but in a very minimal scale. If you start seeing lines, just smooth your lips out and it will look as good as freshly applied.

This is what it looks on me. I didn't apply any base lipstick underneath. I usually will apply my Benefit Cha Cha Tint before I apply anything else. This tint is really wonderful. It glides on smoothly. It isn't drying like any other matte lipstick. If your lips are a little chapped you can still get away with it. My lips have been very dry recently but I can still get away with this.

Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint
PK001 Grapefruit Pudding

Pros
Pretty long lasting.
Glides on smoothly.
Does not highlight lip lines.
Looks matte but not drying.

Cons
Pretty heavy for its size (I think because it's glass container) - but not that much of a turn off.
You have to use your finger to apply which is... pretty gross for some people and aint nobody got time for lip brushes.
If you don't keep it in a upright position or clean it frequently, it will eventually seep out and stain ur bag a little.

Clio Kill Brow Tinted Tattoo Pen

So someone out there has heard my prayers. Finally! A more compact version of the other Clio Kill Brow. They removed the only thing I have to complain about this which is its eyebrow mascara end. It will probably work much better if it had another type of brush - the real mascara kind of brush in smaller size so it will pick up lesser product. I think the brow mascara helps but not if it picks up a lot of gunk that goes on to your eyebrow. I don't usually use brow mascara also, unless I have more than enough time or I feel like dolling up.

I got the same colour as the one I did for the full sized Clio - the darkest shade and the darkest brown shade. It comes in 3 shades also, I think there's a number 2 which is a light brown shade. If you have pretty brown hair, it should look very nice on you. But my hair is black. I have never dyed it before so I need to pick the darker shades.

Clio Kill Brow Tinted Tattoo Pen
#3 Earth Brown
#1 Dark Brown

Pros
Pretty long lasting.
Easy to apply.

Cons
Size is bigger than the other eyebrow tint but it's alright.
No other cons. They've taken away my only cons for this product. Am loving this!

Full review of the full sized tint with the eyebrow mascara is here. Everything is basically the same so I will not write up a repetitive post on this. Click for pictures on how they look on me.

Here are the reviews for the other eyebrow tint I've tried:

Sigma Warm Neutrals Eye Shadow Palette

Ordered this from Luxola I think? Anyway, I thought the colours are very versatile and I was looking for some girly pinkish look. The only other eye shadow palette I have is the Naked 2 from Urban Decay which I love. I'm eyeing the Smokey palette now but..... #selfcontrol

Half of the shades are shimmery. The colours are not very true to the picture especially on my skin. Maybe my yellowish skin alters the colour outcome. My brush pics up aplenty of the powder. It looks like it's picking up more than my other shadows. This is great. I don't need to apply so many times.

I think I applied Cinnamon, Cozy and Warm Stone in this picture. All blended out nicely of course. Cinnamon is a very nice transition colour for me. I have been using it when I want to sport the more neutral look, on my less smokey days. Or when I want to sport an extremely smokey eyes, I will use this to blend the darker shade out into the brow area. I will be using this palette to help me with my Halloween look! So excited for that. My first time "dress up" ever, or should I say "face up" since there is no costume involved, just gonna make up my face. Hopefully it will be scary/ugly pretty instead of just ugly hahahah.

Sigma Warm Neutrals Professional Make Up Collection

Pros:
Lovely colours

Cons:
Due to my skin tone, I probably need to apply it on my hand first to see how it will fare on my lids since it doesn't really look like what I see on the palette.
Not exactly cheap. I forgot how much it is but probably more than half of Urban Decay Naked palette. Probably because Sigma is the well known make up brushes that people usually use? I guess so.

Verdict:
You should get these if you don't like your other shadows or if you are looking for specific shades on the palette.
